As a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity, Saint Basil Academy depends upon the financial support of its beloved friends and donors. Our supporters contribute in many different ways, from monetary and material donations to naming Saint Basil Academy as a beneficiary in life insurance and estate planning. Saint Basil Academy also has several earmarked funds in place for therapeutic art classes and outdoor excursions. Sponsoring a resident, becoming a host family, and/or referring a child to Saint Basil Academy are other vital ways of providing support as well. When you give to Saint Basil Academy, you are helping a child in need in a powerful way.
Saint Basil Academy (SBA) has 3 residential programs: the Family Program for single mothers, the K-12 custodial care Youth Program, and the Bridge Program for young adults. These programs provide residents with the physical, clinical, and emotional resources that they need to heal and thrive. Your gift helps make that happen.
From summer camps to music lessons, outdoor adventures to museum trips, Saint Basil Academy provides residents with the formative and character-building experiences that every child needs. Your gift helps give them life skills as well as memories that will last a lifetime.
School tuition costs thousands of dollars each year per child. Your gift helps ensure that all Saint Basil residents receive an excellent education that puts them on a positive track in life.
From maintaining the campus, buildings, and chapels to paying for basics like heat, electricity, and food, SBA’s general operating costs are significant. Your gift helps to give our residents a home that is safe, attractive, and comfortable.

St. Basil Academy has been a place to allow me to grow in my ability to heal, move towards financial independence while helping me achieve my college education, and find peace in my time of need. My gratitude towards the staff and administration of Saint Basil is immeasurable.
Saint Basil means a lot to me. They keep me safe and everyone is the best at Saint Basil. We all love Saint Basil. We are all a family.
St. Basils is a very important and special to me because they’ve helped my family in so much ways. St. Basils has gave my family a chance to live comfortably without panicking if we would end up on the streets. Here at St. Basils, I have a second family that I can talk to, and rely on. This place gives so many opportunities to have a better life and I couldn’t be more thankful for that. If it wasn’t for St. Basils, I wouldn’t be living the way I am now. Therefore, I am so grateful and thankful for this place and they’ve done for me and my family.
It makes me feel safe.
Saint Basil is my home.
SBA is a Christian enclave in a secular world. We feel very blessed to be here.
Saint Basil Academy helps me to be a good person.
Saint Basils means a lot to me. It gives me a home. Before Saint Basils I was at my abusive household. I am very appreciative of Saint Basils for giving me a roof over my head and food on the table.
Saint Basil means God. It means new opportunities.
Before being accepted to SBA, the word family was a rudimentary concept to me. Now that one word family has been redefined not only by SBA but the people and staff who work here as well. The main reason I’ve come so far is because of SBA and the staff. Without them, I have no idea where I would be.
