We teach, We heal, We bring the Light of Christ to all
Our Mission
Saint Basil Academy is the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese’s home for children and families in need. Our mission is to provide a safe and loving Orthodox Christian environment that nourishes our children and families to become productive members of society with vision and hope. Saint Basil has been a place to grow my ability to heal, move toward financial independence, achieve my college education, and find peace in my time of need.
Our Programs
Saint Basil Academy has three residential programs: the K-12 custodial care YouthProgram, the Family Program for single mothers and their children who are facing homelessness, and the Bridge Program for young adults transitioning to independent living. All three programs form the SaintBasil family, which provides the physical, clinical, and emotional resources that residents need to heal and thrive.
Saint Basil gave my family a chance to live without panicking we would end up on the streets.
Our Community
Saint Basil Academy also serves the broader Orthodox Christian community by offering trainings and retreats to clergy, laity, and youth as well as regular chapel services and fellowship for local and visiting Orthodox faithful.
